Haley and Bradley: An Atlanta Wedding

Remember Haley and Bradley? They tied the knot! Not recently, mind you. I’m just appallingly slow at blogging.

If this venue looks familiar, it’s because it’s one of my favorite wedding venues in Atlanta. The Wimbish House is owned by the Atlanta Women’s Club, and holds a special place in my heart. She’s a vestige of days gone by, holding her own in a city that has exploded around around her. In a word: perfection.

The spring wedding vibes were in full force with the pale blue and ivory color scheme. Haley and Bradley chose to do a first look before the ceremony, and I was delighted to catch the bridal party peeking through the windows during this special moment.

Fall Bridal Session

It may still be eighty degrees outside by noon, but we’re starting to get just the slightest hint of chill in the mornings here in Georgia. And honestly? That’s enough for me to consider it well and truly fall. Bring on the crunchy leaves and sweater weather. I will join my basic-bitches-in-arms and embrace chunky knits and flannel.

I draw the line at pumpkin spice, though. Apple > Pumpkin. Fight me.

But I digress. In celebration of all things autumn, I’d love to share this gorgeous bridal session from 2018 that I never got around to sharing! Better late than never?

Anyway, enjoy this deliciously boho Reclamation gown in scenic North Georgia and dream of cooler days to come.

Appalachian Elopement: Styled Shoot

After moving back to Atlanta, I needed to find my creative spark again. I was so used to the gorgeous, broody vistas of the Pacific Northwest that I really had trouble rediscovering the beauty in my old Georgia haunts.

But then autumn descended upon the Blue Ridge mountains, draping its golden cloak atop the hills and valleys, and I remembered a small log chapel nestled by a quiet pond that would make a perfect location for a styled elopement.

Armed with my trusty vintage peacock chair and a stunning Reclamation gown, I brought this boho elopement daydream to life.
