Engagement

Amelia and Daniel: An Atlanta Engagement Session

These two nerds met at the gaming club at their college. And lest you think calling them nerds is mean, let me assure you that 1) I, too, am a certified nerd and consider “nerd” to be the highest of compliments, and 2) I’m allowed to call my baby brother a nerd.

Anywho.

I was added to the group chat to discuss the vision for their engagement photos. My soon-to-be sister-in-law requested dark academia vibes with lots of browns, dark greens, and “moldy autumn” vibes.

As luck would have it, I had the PERFECT outfit for her. If you ask me, it’s giving “vintage librarian,” and that felt very on-brand for this session.

We started off in the city and snapped some photos by the Capitol and City Hall. The streets were practically empty; that period of time between Christmas and New Year’s is such a weird liminal space, but it made for great photos.

After we’d had our fill of the city, we moved on to more of a forest-y vibe. And y’all? I love these photos so much.

Welcome to the family, Amelia! I can’t wait to watch you two tie the knot in the fall.

Jehan and Dev: An Atlanta Engagement Session

Is there anything more iconic than a Piedmont Park engagement session?

Jehan and Dev reached out to me for their Atlanta engagement, requesting all the delicious, warm golden hour vibes. They didn’t need to ask me twice!

A little dust from the soccer field, a few cheeky lens flares, and boom! Magic was made.

Congrats on the engagement, you two!
